Contractors

Contractors are always difficult to work with and never get anything JUST RIGHT. But doing it yourself is a lot of work.

If you ask for advice/comments/suggestions, don't argue with what people get back to you with! Ask questions to qualify. Disagree if you need to, but accept the suggestion. It is, after all, what you asked for.

Hating your job sucks.

Timeshares

Don't buy a timeshare at a sales presentation unless you've done a LOT of research (or have a LOT of money). Seems like you can get them elsewhere for much better prices.
